Marieke has been a an attorney since 2013. She graduated from Erasmus University Rotterdam. Since completing her studies, she has held various legal positions, with employment law as a common thread.
Marieke is an expert in all areas of employment law, but has specialised in particular in matters relating to incapacity for work, dismissal and non-competition clauses. In the field of social security law, she assists individuals and employers in proceedings against the UWV. This includes cases concerning WIA or Sickness Benefits Act payments, as well as issues relating to wage sanctions, requests for reductions in benefits, or the transition from WGA benefits to IVA benefits.
